A Metaphor Poem

My heart is like a marshmallow

Soft, fluffy, pink and light

My heart is like a diamond

Cut and polished to perfection

Happiness is a thought

You hold it in your mind

Love is a feeling

You hold deep inside

Butterflies dance

When you’re around

When I hear your voice

My heart melts at the speed of sound
